This site
has been created to allow a wider audience access to the works of smaller, but high quality artists such as Kristen Nesbitt.
Kristen Nesbitt has been making figures in Ceramics for many years and her sculptures are amazingly lifelike. Just
look at her portrait dogs in the gallery of our sister site of ceramicdogportraits.silphio.co.uk, all modelled, by hand,
from clients own photographs, in white earthenware, hand painted and glazed. Approx size 200 - 225 mm ( 8 - 9 inches) high.
Working
from your photographs, Kristen will model your dog, in clay, whether pedigree, cross breed or just much loved pooch. Dogs
sit down to talk to you and their language is part body movement and part facial expression. This is the 'Spirit'
that Kristen captures in her unique sculptures and the reason why her figures are nearly always sitting.
